WELCOME!

tcgc-1_smallsize   Located near the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, Tri-Cities Garden Club serves members from Ferrysburg, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and surrounding communities.  We are a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Region, and Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. District IV.

In a spirit of fun and friendship, we seek to advance the arts of gardening and floral design, further the study of horticulture and landscape design, and encourage civic beauty.  A Garden Walk in June and a Flower Show in July are the highlights of our year.   Club activities include fascinating field trips, maintenance of 4 beautiful public gardens, educational workshops, and a variety of community service projects.  Guests are welcome to our meetings, which include a luncheon and guest speaker, and are held the second Monday of the month at the Spring Lake District Library, 123 E. Exchange St. at 11:00 a.m.  Please contact us if you would like to attend.

Environmental Mission Statement:  Tri-Cities Garden Club will strive to be as eco-friendly and environmentally conscious as possible and reduce negative impact on the environment by adopting the best environmental practices available.

Landscape Design School

The Landscape Design School courses are designed for all those interested in expanding their knowledge of landscape design, use of plant materials, ecology, land utilization and developing a greater overall appreciation and understanding of their surroundings. The student will get on-site practice in evaluation of public and domestic design.

Landscape Design School Course III

In response to the COVI-19 virus, our members’ and school participants health and safety is our first concern and most important consideration.
ALL Michigan Garden Club Schools and District meetings scheduled for April and May 2020 have been cancelled.  Therefore, we will cancel Course III of the Landscape Design School scheduled for April 20 & 21, 2020 in Grand Haven, MI.  Course III will be postponed to the fall dates of October 5 & 6, 2020.  Course IV will be scheduled in the Spring of 2021, with dates to be determined.
You have the option to have your registration fee refunded or you may simply carry it over to the Fall session.  That decision will be yours.  Please let Lynn Smith, the Landscape School registrar, know your decision regarding your registration. Lynn Smith’s contact information is:  lgsmith223@gmail.com
NOTE:  If you have made hotel reservations for the April class, please remember to cancel them.
Thanks for your understanding.  Stay healthy.
